Finally bought a Playstation 2 and have no idea what games to get apart from GTA.

What games would you lot recommend?

Also, does anybody know if Crash Nitro Kart is worth getting?

Now look , this is the BEST of what you can get out of the PS2:
Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons Of Liberty
Zone Of The Enders : The Second runner
Final Fantasy X
Pro Evolution Soccer 4
Hitman 2: Silent Assasin
Splinter Cell
Prince Of Persia: The Sands Of Time
Kingdom Hearts

Get these and you'll be happy for the rest of your life, offcourse not just because of playing those games, but you can say that they give some brilliant deffinisions for video games, like pro evo 4 , which is the ultimate competition between you and your mates/bros . POP is plain beautiful, a really smart work of art. MGS2, hitman 2, and splinter cell are serious games with brilliant ideas , breathtaking plots, and the graphics are some of the best, especially mgs2. Final Fantasy 10 and kingdom hearts each has a wonderfull storyline, and finally Zone Of The Enders: The 2nd runner . Now that is one of the most overlooked games I have ever seen, this is ACTUALLY one of the best games ever , to me the best is ff games , metal gear games, then zoe 2. It's just beautiful ! Forget about hype, trust me and get this, you'll love it more than anything else. I think this is how video games are supposed to be made, the people responsible for this game are geniuses. Trust me, if you don't get, you'll be missing a lot.. really ... a lot.

Burnout 3
Spider-man 2

Resident evil outbreak
fifa 2003
splinter cell 1 and 2

Rubbish.

However, Amazon do have a good deal on several games, which you can
only take advantage of if you happen to have a particular user ID.

I don't need credit card numbers, I'll get em for free. I just need
to verify that your email address is correct by seeing your face in a
webcam.

I trust your credit cards are in plain view....

Jak & Daxter 1/2/3

I could list you more, but they're the hit titles that I think anyone should try atleast.
