Well, I agree with almost everything...well, everything really. Here are a list of players Yoo are almost definately getting rid of:
Van Nistelrooy - £20M
Saha - £5M
Kleberson - £4M
Fortune - £3M
Neville - £2.5M
Liam Miller - 1M
Ricardo - 500k
Thats a total of £36 Million!
Who agrees with them?
(Got this info from The Nuts if anyone wants to know)
EDIT| An interesting fact as well : Former Yoo player Diego Forlan has scored more goals for Villareal than Ruud and Rooney put together this season!
Even if they both suck, they should both be granted PFA Name of the Year awards.

2, Rooney and Ronaldo.
But even then Pique hasn't been tried out and I still think Fletcher and Richardson are crap.

Because it (almost) nullifies the wins which orty was talking about.
;)

There's also a guy named Ronaldo on our books, maybe you've heard of him, he was the guy sticking two past you in the 4-2 win we had over you :-D
We then also have the likes of Fletcher and Richardson who has done a good job at West Brom.
And we also have Rossi and Pique waiting in the wings.

Answer: Everyone in europe

Indeed, so why bring it up in first place?
I know you can't win them all, but they seem to have fallen too far short of their potential too often against the weak clubs this year. Though there ends to be an element of that every year, and in a lot of teams playing weaker opposition.
Part of the reason has to be losing players like Rio and Ruud for large chunks of the season.
If they keep their current line up, without major injuries, and can get just a little more consistency from Rooney, I think they'll do well next season.
Thinking about it, after United's poor start to the season, they were quickly what, 12 points off the lead inside a couple of months. Since then they've been close to matching Chelsea's rate of picking up points, and could probably have won a couple more with the motivation of being in contention for the title.
17 points off now. If they can strengthen the squad and prform consistently they could probably match a Chelsea of this season.
Problem is, if Chelsea bring in a striker and keep their work rate, they'll be better again.
Spills notwithstanding, Carroll is a decent keeper. Nobody's perfect, and he's hardly a David James of *censored?!*-ups. Howard can be excellent, if he'll pull himself together.
The defence looks okay, Ferdinand, O'Shea, Neville, Heinze, Silvestre, Brown looks more solid these days, and they could be adding Sagnol over the summer.
Midfield, They need someone who can replace Keane soon. Scholes has been flat this season, but if he can come good next year will be fine. Giggs is getting on a bit, but is good for a little longer. Ronaldo has been excellent, Fletcher could do well if he continues to develop, Fortune looks a bit more stable now.
But to be honest, they need outstanding midfielders coming through to replace the old guard. Aside from Ronaldo, they look short on fresh talent at the level they need it.
Strikers: Rooney looks to have potential, and I've been impressed by his change in attitude. Van Nistelrooy, if he's there, will no doubt continue to shine.
But that's about where the positives dry up.
Saha, Smith, Bellion, it happens to so many players at United, they come in with so much promise, but they never materialise as decent players. And sometimes you can't help feel it's lack of opportunity. You need some consistent match play to settle in, and a lot of signings don't seem to get that.
Ronaldo did (thanks to the departure of Beckham, Veron and Chadwick), and look where it got him. I find it hard to imagine that the three players listed above couldn't have done much better than they have with a bit more chance to settle into match play.
Managers: Fergie can't live forever. He's talking about Keane taking over, but as the Irish world cup fiasco showed, he's potentially a bit of a nob.
I back David Moyes for the job. Without big money, he's taken Everton as far as they're going to go. You have to move on.
He gave Preston back to back promotions, from div 3 to 1, and he was pushing towards promotion again when he left. Now he's got Everton into the Champion's league (if we ever needed a reason to cut back on how many English clubs get in!)
Next challenge, get Utd back to the top!
But I think United's biggest problems are that new signings struggle to settle into first team performers, and the regular first teamers often look lazy and complacant against weaker opposition.
There's a solution in there somewhere!
If United could turn Saha and Bellion and Kleberson into regular, reliable performers, while grooming Smith into a decent attacking midfielder, buy someone to pick up from Keane, and give everyone a decent, intelligent squad rotation (oh, and quit playing 4-5-1, they do *so* much better 4-4-2), I think they could be comptetive again with just the one transfer.

Typical "sod the rivals mentality".
;)
It's irrelevant because whether we win it or Chelsea wins it makes little difference to you finishing third.

Hardly irrelevant. After the game at OT you only won 1 out of the next 5 games. A huge dent in defending the title.
