Yes, I know there's some other election happening today, but coming this time next week is the vote that can really make a difference to people's lives - UKchatforums.com Notable.
Every three months the regulars of the board vote to give one member "Notable" status. The colour of their name (which is changed to Gold) and their member title is the only difference that you'll see, but the increased fear and respect from their peers will be obvious to all.
The vote will be held on Thursday 12th May. There will be an official voting thread put up in General Chat on Thursday morning, and you'll get until midnight to place your vote. Unfortunately JATs and Newbies are unable to vote, this will be for Regulars and Notables only.
This time round, as well as your normal vote for Notable, you'll also be able to vote for someone to relinquish their Notable status and rejoin the ranks of the Regulars. Use it wisely.
So next Thursday then. Don't forget it.

I've been asking for the past few days for the beef, Mr. Notorious B. As a matter of fact, in your absence I was actually the only advocate for NOT voting off any Notables..if you'll read back through this thread.
This is nonsense. I think the Notable clan should remain intact and only supplemented with additional members, further enhancing the Notable-ness of this here fine SR site. Removing anyone of them and recycling them through the process makes the distinction less admirable, in my opinion. It says you're no longer cool and that sucks!
It makes this whole site less cool to do that to anyone.
Therefore, I say that if the Staffies will consider deselecting one, why not the entire lot of you to make it a fair go. You're either ALL distinguishable members, or your not.

Yeah. But, if we're to proceed with this farce, how's about you Notables give us a nice show. Give the good ol' chap who'll be chastised from pukeypee green colour back into the rose-tinted existence an honourable last several days. Play it up homies.
Show us how rock and roll Notable you are. Just a thought. Would be nice to behold.
One last note..
Although I haven't been here long, it doesn't take too long for someone of my caliber to figure it all out or to determine who has genuine personality up in this popstand. Although my words may seem insignificant to many (as if I give a flying..mmhm), I don't want to vote off anyone who doesn't deserve to be deselected because of their attendance and/or persona, or lack thereof. It would be really nice to see all the Notables make more of a concerted effort at this time.
