Shame it still ended as a draw. That's about the fourth goal of the month contender there's been during April. Too hard to choose a winner but that's certainly got a great chance.

Meh, scored better. Giffard Primary School vs St Andrews 1996, a rainswept winter late afternoon, 30+ people saw me smash a 25 yard rocket past the helpless keeper. Have some of that :-D

I'd put Rooney top, then Edman, then Safri, then Gerrard.

Edman > Rooney

Also, didn't Dean Ashton have a spectacular goal just a few weeks ago or did I imagine that?

EDIT: And if we're talking about goal of the season then Stelios is a contender too.

Edman, Safri, Gerrard, Rooney, Ashton and Garcia have all scored good goals this month.

Should make for a top quality competition.

I bet about half of the goals from this month are in the Goal of the Season compo as well.

Yes but Steven Shumacher's goal for City today was better than them both. And he different have the crappy Premiership ball that curls about every where. It was just on Sky Sports News.
