Asher tried to do this a while ago and it clearly rocked ass, i thought it was a good idea so i'm going to try and revive it.
I want a group of people who can recommend one track a day which hopefully people will listen to and pass judgement on. The idea is just to introduce people to new music.
I'm planning on starting Monday with one track for each day of the week and i'll revolve the days around the people involved.

John Butler Trio - Life Ain't What It Seems
Ok nice intro and then the singer comes in and he sounds too similar to Ronan Keating for me to be happy but anyway, i'm not sure whether the lyrics are great or awful, reminds me of Ironic by Alanis Morisette for some reason. Musically it finally picks up around 5:30 as it kicks into gear, maybe a bit late though, the last minute or so is just odd and completely out of sync with whats gone before. Regardless there is nothing awful about it, it's nice but you get the feeling it was supposed to be a bit more epic or uplifting than it is. At 8 minutes 14 seconds it's probably a little overlong.
Will listen again tommorow, it might grow on me yet.

Feel Good Inc is quite possibly one of the worst songs I've ever heard.
How were any of you people complimentary about this?

I thought the start was a joke before it progressed to something with a bit more substance, so I laughed it off, but the entire song is just.... ..
