Asher tried to do this a while ago and it clearly rocked ass, i thought it was a good idea so i'm going to try and revive it.
I want a group of people who can recommend one track a day which hopefully people will listen to and pass judgement on. The idea is just to introduce people to new music.
I'm planning on starting Monday with one track for each day of the week and i'll revolve the days around the people involved.

I so love the relaxing airy strums of Nick Drake's guitar.

Things Behind The Sun, and most other of Nick's songs, are for relaxing at the end of long summer days.. cuddled-up out under a clear twilight sky, in a hammock.. the smell of citronella candles strung about, sipping sangria, and talking of far away places.. :)

Lovely lyrics..

Open up the broken cup
Let godly sin and sunshine in
Yes that's today.
And open wide the hymns you hide, you find reknown
While people frown at things that you say
But say what you'll say
About the farmers and the fun
And the things behind the sun
And the people round your head
Who say everything's been said
And the movement in your brain
Sends you out into the rain..

Frankly, I'm a bit too drunk to work out how this thread works. Nevertheless, you should all download The Earlies - Wayward Song. I'm guessing that the only place you'll get is Soulseek, which is the best network for decent music anyway.

Go to mp3search.ru

It's a russian website that lets you download albums for 10 cents (yes, American cents) per track. You can legally download the latest albums for under a quid. The album I recommend at the moment is "Frou Frou". Track 2 and track 8 are especially good.

I've done that too many times too..

I'd get that Nick Drake track, which I know I'll love already, but I'm running silent here at the moment. Why do other people have to sleep? Pft

I thought it was really nice. I guess it's just my kind of music..hm. Something you have to be open-minded to...and not sterilized.

I'm now a fan of John Butler Trio, in any case.. Cheers Rickoss!

[edit] Hehe.. :P I think he did that "r" thingy on purpose..
