Cool. But it did mean I didn't revise for my exam today. But it went OK.
That's all, must run. tata.

You walked out! Ha! I was there. I didn't walk out, I laughed. Not sure why all bands tend to assume that most of the crowd are students though.
And Cambridge University students should be able to take an insult once in a while, a fragile ego benefits no one in the long run.
Might look back at some metal or punk.

muhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
It hasn't left my CD player yet, I love it.
The songs are boring. One or two have a hook but they're almost always identical. El Capitan is listenable, I Understand it is okay and Not just Sometimes But Always is perhaps their best song.
But I'm with the critics on this one, not as of a let down as Feeder's latest offering, but a let down all the same.

Agreed. Warnings/Promises is an absolutely awesome album. The only reason some people will be disappointed with it is because they want 11 more Roseability's to rock out ot!!!111. Some Idlewild fans need to grow up. Brilliantly mature songs on Warnings/Promises, I couldn't choose between it and The Remote Part. They're both so good.
And Warnings/Promises isn't quite as catchy as their old albums, which is why some will be disappointed with it, as it's more of a coming of age.
I was over the moon with the album, was the slightest bit sceptical after the first listen, but it's grown on me so much. Some of the best songs they've done are on Warnings/Promises.
I went to see them at Birmingham on Sunday and it's the best night I've had out in a long time. The sound quality was magnificent, they've come on so much as a band, I couldn't fault them in the slightest.
