The meeting was pretty much all bad news, but:

I made it back home for the second half of Arsenal vs Chelsea! I missed the most of the action, but atleast I got to see a decent part of the game. It could have been clear cut wins for either side, but I felt the draw was a more fair result.

Senderos had wobbled a tad in the last few games but generally pulled through well. He had his best game of his 8 tonight.

Reyes looks as if he's another big game flopper. He never really used his pace and when he did there was no-one in the box.

Shame Pires couldn't give us a 2 up at half time. He didn't have the best of second halves and if anything, Chelsea were more penetrative (even if they saw less of the ball).

Oh well. I guess our title has to be passed on, but atleast Chelsea deserve it. Thankfully it wasn't Man U who took it off us.
:)

I'm glad we didn't lose, cos it keeps the run going and makes sure we have something to play for next time we play them. Any edge is a bonus.

I'm not so sure, Juventus seem to rely on Zlatan a lot for creativity. I've not seen that many Juve games thise season, only about five or six, but in every one, apart from possibly Camoranesi, he seems to be the only one that can create stuff.

Nedved has had a pretty shocking season by his standards, Del Piero has always been over-rated, Emerson's not the type to open a defense, and Appiah, Tacchinardi and Blasi are of a similar type. (Also, did you hear Brum want Appiah? 3.5m rated, a bit cheap considering all he's done wrong this season is not gotten into the team.)

I can't really speak though, Milan's dependency on Pirlo worries me. Without him, Cafu isn't as effective being fed by Pirlo down the right, other players can't get into space while Pirlo holds it up, everything stops when Pirlo is off the pitch, not to mention goals from his corners and free kicks.

The Trez will be back then, though, so all will be well if he does.

I'm still doubting Juve will get past Lazio on current form, though. :-(

Same, what a result for Milan!

Though Zlatan should have got sent off for his headbutt.

Interestingly, a three game suspension would put him out of the Milan game, right?

Pass to who though? No one was ever up in the box and all he could do is take on players or pass it back.

Chelsea played for the draw the 2nd half and Arsenal were crack at attacing because no one get in the box. Bergkamp should of come off alot sooner but no, Wenger loves his late substitutions. Reyes was crap ffs, he tries to use his skill to get past the whole team instead of just passing the ball...gr, sell him now.

Reyes gave 100% but Bergkamp as usual sat outside the box like a goon, Dennis was awful! We defintely missed Ljungberg we could of done with Henry but Ljungberg would of got into the box for Reyes to get anywhere.

The outrageous volley was one of those that the T90 has experienced on more than a couple of times this season. Must have a sweet spot or something.

it was a pretty average match - which I'd have watched Evertone vs Yoo in full now - but any time I do watch Yoo, they win. So probably for the best.

Butr have you seen Pires' shot? 2 minutes in, I thought we were set up for the match of the season. But no. Turned out to be pretty tame.
