The meeting was pretty much all bad news, but:

I made it back home for the second half of Arsenal vs Chelsea! I missed the most of the action, but atleast I got to see a decent part of the game. It could have been clear cut wins for either side, but I felt the draw was a more fair result.

Senderos had wobbled a tad in the last few games but generally pulled through well. He had his best game of his 8 tonight.

Reyes looks as if he's another big game flopper. He never really used his pace and when he did there was no-one in the box.

Shame Pires couldn't give us a 2 up at half time. He didn't have the best of second halves and if anything, Chelsea were more penetrative (even if they saw less of the ball).

Oh well. I guess our title has to be passed on, but atleast Chelsea deserve it. Thankfully it wasn't Man U who took it off us.
:)

I'm glad we didn't lose, cos it keeps the run going and makes sure we have something to play for next time we play them. Any edge is a bonus.

In summary:

To S***e Fart Lame we go.

So it is 3-game. Excellent.

About Cassano, Capello also said something similar, and look what happened there.

I'm worried about Milan Parma. Pirlo is out, and Milan seem to have struggled against relegation teams recently.

3 games aint that bad compared to Totti's (latest) 5 match ban! Hopefully he will learn his lesson this time. Although i doubt it.

At least Cassano has pledged that he wont be leaving for Juventus. Although i fail to see how his and Totti's contract will be paid for considering avoiding relegation is now the main target instead of europe :O

Yup, I got a mate who plays as Italy. I get Lucio to crunch him and he's sorted. Same if he uses Argentina. Emerson charges up from the kick-off and Crespo's done.

I have to watch out for Ronaldo, though, or I might have to *gulp* bring Adriano the Donkey on. I've actually started using Vagner Love instead now.

Del and Giggs seem to have legs made of glass.

Its funny becasue my brother is always juve on pro evo and alot of his play goes through del. Only takes one tackle from Dellas/Mexes to put him out of the game :)

He's still just as hairy though.

Bergkamp didn't have the best of games, but he needs to have someone infront of him, to pass to. Instead our players were out wide.

Reyes was alright, but not sensational by any stretch.

Ryasandro Del Giggs. Yes.

I think the problem with Del Piero is that he was too good when he first burst onto the scene at 21/22. Since then he's never been as good, and 8-month injury lay-offs probably haven't helped all that much either.

I still remember him in the Champions League in 1997. He was fantastic. He had skill, he could pass, he could shoot, and he could turn any defender inside out. If his Pro Evo stats were realistic for his performances the past couple of seasons, his attributes would have halfed since then. Sadly.

I like Del Piero. People are just knocking him now because he's not producing as consistently as he used to. He's just the Italian Giggs, really. Surprised those two haven't become mates. Both wonderkids, both club-loyal, both hailed as their country's best hope, both really hairy.

Del Giggs.

Yeah, Camoranesi is really good on his day. Zlatan has got the skill and creativity to open up defences, but he doesn't use it all that much. When he gets on the ball, there's all the excitement and suspense, and then it's all gone in a few seconds as he passes wildly about 20 feet from the nearest Juve player. He's going to be a top frontman in years to come, but he's not exactly Juve's only hope.

Agree with you about all the midfielders, apart from maybe Appiah. He's good, but when you've got players like Emerson, Blasi and Tacchinardi, he's really un-necessary. He's not done a whole lot wrong, but he's not done a whole lot right either. He just sits there alongside Emerson. Nedved's annoyed me this year, and will ever moreso if he hangs up his boots at the end of the year like he's claimed he will. He's lost a lot of pace and hasn't been on his usual 'scoring/assisting/generally being amazing' Nedved form, but he's still got the skill and class to unlock any defence. Del Piero is over-rated. But he's still got it from set pieces, and Juve are lacking in that area otherwise, so he'll do just now. :-D

He's still the most gifted attacking midfielder in the world. I know most people will remember Zidane as the creative player of the last 10 years, but it'll be Nedved to me.

Of course, the midfielder of the next decade will be Xabi Alonso :)

What? But they've got Diao! They need no-one else.
