Ah I see. Did you see Heat this week, there was a new bloke but i cant remember what his name was. Is he someone you have known for ages but has just made his debut in the WWE now?

They pulled the match i believe as they felt it wouldn't do anything to get Punk over so saving his debut for either next Heat or RAW

What happened there then?

Neither of them were on Heat if i remember right. Then again i was watching at 1 in the morning so i might have fallen asleep or something!

I think the week after Punk was jobbed out as a singles wrestler he was in a Tag Tea match with Chad Collyer as his partner and that brillaint commentary team of Matthews and Romero got their names the wrong way around for the entire duration of the match...

Hope Punk remembers that and has 'A word' with Josh the same way he did with Teddy Hart...

Its a little faded what happened but yeah Venis was dominated most of the match after CM Punk targeted the leg. What i cant remember though is how Venis was able to win the match and what exactly the Commentators said... sorry if i was wrong JoH but i was going by what i thought!

I wouldn't say he dominated it per se, as he was still only in there to do the job, but he got a ton more offence in there than the usual jobber guys do. And although the match was lost by Punk, it put him over huge compared to the normal jobber match considering how much time he got to beat down on Venis' leg.

And by the way Wardy, it was Hillfish I was dismissing, you were pretty much on the money.

Yeah I have always thought Val was alright too. I cant really remember the match very well so sorry JoH if i got it completely wrong, but if i remember didnt CM Punk do loads of work on the leg and pretty much own Venis but then still lose somehow! Tis a shame because although it made Venis look good i didnt really think it did much for Punk considering he had pretty much dominated a match and then lost.

Am i right in saying he pretty much dominated the match?
