This weekend I'm meeting my girlfriend's friends internet boyfriend, it's also their first time meeting too, so it should be massively awkward. Apparently he's travelling from London so he must have high expectations.
I hope they don't get along just so it's fun to watch.
I know some of you've met people from the net before from the "where did you meet your other half" thread, but would you, on the first time meeting someone, let them live with you for three days?

Yup. A person from this very forum stayed at mine for the weekend. At the time, another forum member was my housemate. And being as how I met Mrs Light via email...well, I'm well disposed toward the net!

Yesterday, I met with a girl who I've met once before for about an hour.
Most of our relationship has hence been through messages and the net.
So really, I know her through the net. But not.

That was London and Brighton wasn't it? It's a lot further from London to Leeds. I think he's quite trusting jsut getting a random train to Leeds and hoping she's not really guy called Brian.

Personally I couldn't go and stay with someone after just speaking to them over the net for a few weeks.
I stayed with EB for a few days after our first meeting, and as you all already know we had been speaking for a year and a half before that. I was still pretty nervous about going there.
Recently my bestmate has been trying to get laid by this work at his uni/work. Although he's done the deed now, before that she was messing him about by saying she was a nice girl or something along those lines.
After she turned him down by saying 'I'm just not horny', she went out clubbing, called some bloke she met on the net 3 weeks before, and slept with him. That was the first time they met too.
