I know some of you've met people from the net before from the "where did you meet your other half" thread, but would you, on the first time meeting someone, let them live with you for three days?

i did that too. except probably for longer than you.
Anyway I know a girl from New York who went to stay at her internet boyfriends house in Ireland. Think it went well, but they split up and hated each other later in life. Haven't spoken to either in almost a year so not sure if they're back on speaking terms.

I suppose the media tends to indoctrinate with horror-stories though. It is a valid way of meeting people, and not everyone is a deceptive cloaked weirdo. I guess I'll find out anyway.
