This weekend I'm meeting my girlfriend's friends internet boyfriend, it's also their first time meeting too, so it should be massively awkward. Apparently he's travelling from London so he must have high expectations.

I hope they don't get along just so it's fun to watch.

I know some of you've met people from the net before from the "where did you meet your other half" thread, but would you, on the first time meeting someone, let them live with you for three days?

Seems kinda cool, hope he's a knife-freak :-)

Not because I'm sick or anything... actually yes, thats exactly the reason, and it will be fun for me to watch tomorrow. If they're lovey-dovey it'll be lame and I'll have to start a fire again.

So they met, didnt go out tonight to meet him/it though because I feel rather sicky. I will do tomorrow so I will see how awkward it turns out :-)

Damn I hope it's uncomfortable.

I can't think of anything I'd enjoy less than meeting someone I'd met on the internet. It'd be the least cool thing I'd ever done and it'd be holy awkward.

London to Cambridge actually, still not as far as London/Leeds, but it was still a bit weird all the same.
