None of that Theory test shizzle.

It's at Hither Green, in Catford, possibly the most difficult test centre in the country. I've got to cope with the Catford one way system, in which half the roads are 20mph limit and the others are 40mph, dual carriageways, massive roundabouts, width restrictions everywhere, doing manouvres on steep hills, craploads of traffic, bad signing and crazy pedestrians.

I predict some serious ass kickery and name takery.

I'm taking my test in Ilkley probably, quiet town with fat country roads. Only downside is cyclists.

Pfffft.
I have to learn in Paisey, and it's probably wher eI'll take my test.
It's the worst place in the UK to drive, apparantly.

Good luck, my love.

If my lesson goes well tomorrow, I may as well book the real thing.
The area around the test place is really easy ... well, mostly. If the guy wants to be evil he can take my down a few tiny one-car-only streets with cars parked both sides all the way up and nowhere to pass. And there is a dual-carriageway (a proper one) just within reach.

Good luck

My test centre was stuck in the smallest street you've ever seen, cars parked on either side of the road. So the first task was just leaving the blood place.

It was also more than an hour's drive from my town so I hardly knew some areas of the test route.
I was taken to Govan and did my manouevers in the most run down street you've ever seen.

I passed though.
