After doing 1 year of a 3 year course I've decided it isn't for me. I decided a few months ago to stick the course out for a year just to get whetever you get for a year.

But..

My friend said that he don't think I'd get anything for doing just a year. Is this true or does it depend on the course and University?

If it is true I may as well leave now and work for a bit, rather than keep going to uni for nothing.

I wasn't sure if I got some sort of certificate or not.

I go to Brighton University. It's the crappest..

Better you quit after a year than get further and regret it.

I don't know whether to be happy for sad.

Be a pretty crap uni if it wasn't. You've not got a degree if you don't a finals - it's not fractional system. There's no such thing as a third of a degree.

well if you don't like the course there's no point in being miserable.

I don't know whether you should quit now or at the end of the year though.

You get sod all unless you do a final dissertation.
