"Predator"

Just saw it this afternoon. Good film, enjoyed it alot. A lot of tense moments. Not as good as Alien, but still good. I thought the special effects were pretty good (this film was made in 1987) and the Predator looked amazing, better than the awful Alien VS Predator version. You might as well watch Predator and Alien instead of AvP.

I used to prefer the 2nd film as a kid, but now when I rewatch them, I see how the first just utterly wipes the floor with it. Except the train scene in Predator 2. That had me cacking it as a kid, and is still tense to watch.

It's a decent film, not as good as the first. Could've done with Arnie in it (he was meant to be the Keys character that Gary Busey played but he didn't like the idea of taking the Predator out of the jungle environment)

AvP was awful beyond reason. Somehow it managed to look more low budget than all the Alien and Predator films put together.

I rather liked Predator 2. Obviously it wasn't as good as the first, but it was a worthy effort.

No, it's not. It's alright, actually.
AVP was a disgrace, that's all.

That was bloody awful. Running around in a short-sleeve shirt and jeans in the freezing cold? Riiight.

Predator 2 didn't live up to the excellent first film. But I still thoroughly enjoyed it.

Predator 2 was reasonable for the first part, but then I thought it kind of dragged on a bit. Nothing like the original, and nothing special.

The gunfight at the start was pretty cool, though, was it not?
