I've just downloaded myself a Bit Torrent player, but I wanted to know how fast the downloading is and how much space (on average) would something like a 1.5 - 2.5 hour film take up?
How long would it take to download, keeping in mind that I have Dial-up Internet ? (not Broadband)
Cheers

And that reminds me ... my mate is gonna give me every episode of the Simpsons, which his mate bought in the good 'ol US of A
Not too shabby :)
Its a good system and it won't die for a while just the sites hosting the trackers for illegal movies will.
I agree sharing files with Bit Torrent is wrong and illegal, with all people who use it spending eternity in Limbo ...

So less and less people are using it. Resulting in it getting slower and slower.
Erm to answer your question, a good quailty one is normally around 1.5gig but you can get good copies at around 700mb.
I compressed a dvd once down to 230mb i'll post a frame of it to show the quality in a little while i was quite impressed.
Don't even bother downloading movies.
