That's bassline is so thick you could spread peanut butter on it. Nice.
And the rapping doesn't spoil it. It makes the song. I mean, I love poetic, caring, delicate songs, but de la soul have made this into something muhc more than a heartfelt desire. They made it genius.
Many an argument ended without resolution cos no-one believed me.
