So, went down to HMV in Portsmouth, queued up for about half an hour, and they sold out after about the first 10 people or so. People buying about 4 tickets each, despite a mates assurances that it was one ticket per person, which to be honest would have been a much better idea...

Anyway, wondering if anyone has a spare Reading ticket (or three) that we could buy... Don't especially want to pay the £200 each they're asking on Ebay... Anyway, reply here or give me an Email... Chars.

Last year when I went to Leeds there was an official stand selling weekend tickets by the gate, it was open when I got there on the Thursday morning. I'm guessing that they'll be selling the tickets that people have returned.

I'll be going to Leeds this year and I'm going to get my tickets today before they sell out.

I stumbled upon this site http://www.scarletmist.com/default.asp, they are selling sold out festival and gig tickets at face value.

I heard some people saying every year they hold back some weekend tickets and sell them at an official stall thing by the entrance. Apparently last year the stall didn't sell out of weekend tickets until Friday afternoon. So I reckon we'll head up to the festival Wednesday evening / Thursday morn and see if tere's an official stall again.

You never know though, they may release another batch at some point. Unlikely, but meh.

Yeah I may do Truck this year. Less than half an hour from my house and only £25 (or so) for the weekend. Any news on when the lineups out?

Looks like Reading weekend tickets are completely gone now http://efestivals.co.uk/news/050330b.shtml

I live very near Reading, so I may be able to pick you one up in town?

Not going myself this year, too expensive and the line-up is a bit dull so far. Doing Glade, Truck, Green Man, and Bunkfest though, so should be a decent summer.

Heh, junkie.

I prefer the lineup at Download because I'm into all that heavy rubbish goth stuff. However indie is good too, I think people who like metal music generally say indie is crap to make themselves look utterely hardcore... then watch a man who looks like a skinny woman (Manson) gyrating and urinating on the crowd.

The Killers, Razorlight and some other new indie bands are decent. I dont like them all but meh, beats dubbed pop :-)

I'll be there for the weekend, hoping to catch every last drop of indie-tinted goodness.

It'll be laminated around my neck.

You going for whole weekend?

I may be there for just a day, depending on how much more the lineup improves, I'm not keen on some of the bands playing and I can't justify paying £135 for Foo Fighters, Jimmy Eat World and Manson (and Maiden, to an extent)
