Hahaha.

Took me a while to realise that you were on about Captin Planet there! I thought it was just a random comment!

All of these cartoons pale in comparision to Bucky O'Hare. I loved that show, especially Deadeye the foured armed duck. Y'see, everyone thought it was Bucky who ran the show, but Deadeye did. Bucky was too busy trying to score with that female pilot rabbit. Or possibly she was a cat. He loved her curves.

And there was a kid. Some random young kid who was a genius. And a monkey who fixed stuff. No cartoon is complete without a monkey.

This reminds me. Only one cartoon is more ultimate than Bucky.

Thundercats.

What a show. Hey, JFK guy, can you link me to a Thundercats theme tune? My ex-girlfriend's little brother had Thundercats the Movie on tape. I should've stolen it from him.

You're the man.

I've done a little Bucky research. The ship was called Righteous Indignation. Excellent name. And the monkey was a baboon. And he had a brother baboon who got angry when one baboon was killed. Like Tank and the other guy on The Matrix. But with more monkeys.

Go Bucky. And Liono.

Stuff like Pinky And The Brain is far more modern than Bucky/Superted/Thundercats. It was just there for kids who fell into that unfortunate age after Thundercats but before the next major cartoon series. Which was Pokemon, yes?

Man that sucks balls compared to Bucky and Thundercats. They don't kill anything, they just trap them in gay little balls. Bucky and Deadeye would shoot the crap out of an electric mouse, I'm telling you. And that annoying spiky haired kid? Liono would've sliced him up real nice. Unless the bald grey guy ran him over in that tank with claws.

In other words, me.

I enjoyed Pinky and the Brain and I believe that Super Ted was still fairly modern in the early 90s when I was watching and there were plenty of repeats even if it wasn't brand new.
I don't think I've ever seen a full episode of Thundercats (shock, horror) and the small amount of Bucky O'Hare that I've seen didn't interest me. The cartoons featured in the original post are the cartoons that I remember reguarly watching and enjoying and because I'm a couple of years younger than some of you not all of your favourites are there, especially if they were made in the early 1980s.
