Abu made noises and that's what Frank does. He's credited for the voice of Santa's Little Helper in The Simpsons as well. I think the only human he's ever played is Fred from Scooby-Doo.

Also, Stryke, you have no right to say you are Frank Welker. That is an insult to the great man.

It appears that he took over the voice of Niddler from Roddy McDowall. If you click on 'more' beneath plot outline it confirms that Niddler is the monkey bird.
