Jenkins V Davis could have been a bit closer but Davis just missed too many doubles.
Last of the first round game tonight. Roy V Burnett should be good and hope to see the return to form of Dudbridge.
I thought by now he'd have a title to his name like Lloyd etc have managed over the past few years but I think his time is fast slipping away.
I'm really disappointed that Mardle went out. Not only does that mean no more Mardle at the World Championships but he won't get that wild card for the Premier League.
I wouldn't call Sams and Monk going out as shocks, as neither of them have done that well in the World Championships. Last years semi finalist, Wayne Jones, is through and Hamilton through too.
Lloyd vs Barney will be the match of the 2nd round, think Barney will edge it.
Shame about Anderson I always like it when the oldies play like they used to.
He produced only glimpses of classic Bob but Webster was pretty punishing.
Taylor had a walk in the park after his oppponent only managed about a 78 average, really wanted him to win at least 1 leg and I thought he was going to do it but he missed 3 double 4's for the last leg and Taylor stepped in for the win.
No problems for Taylor or Manley. Part V Mason should be a good game in the 2nd round.
