Do you believe that euthanasia should be made legal in Britain?
People believe that it is technically murder to have a Doctor kill you. But then animals have the right to die if they are in pain, why not humans?

Not only that but it can become never ending , as many want to find their real parent`s in the end and along comes more heartace but not just for 1 person it could involve whole familys..
And i think there are far to many children in care already..:(

Animals do not have the right to die? the decission is made for them by us humans. Am sure if every animal that was ever put down humanly was documented you would see a large percentage were killed because they were unwanted! and no other reason, is that what could happen with humans as well? some super human deciding who should live and who should die? Hitler tried it and failed.

And that is why I beleive in euthanasia. I've seen close family die in horrendous pain and indignity. Cancer is. well. a cancer.

My grandmother was pleading to die at the end. Cancer. Hip replacement. Stroke. MRSA. Stroke. Cancer. Hip replacement. Stroke. four weeks of suffering. If someone offered her a painless way to see her husband again (dead for 15 years) then I can't see a problem.

Her choice.

Yes, and then someone mentioned these topics in their posts and you decided to pull it out post a thread about it. Don't be offended. Just stating the obvious.

[edit] *threads (pl) about it.

As it's happened more than once. It's all good. Goes to originality, really.
