Looking at the PS2 page a few days ago, I noticed that only games such as super bombad racing appeared on the list of new releases, not Crazy Taxi despite the fact it was going to be released May 25th. However, now it is known that the release has been delayed until June 1st.

Personally I don`t mind if it gets delayed another week after that even, as I won`t be back from Uni until the 9th of June.

Having carefully considered your post. I will not spend any money on Crazy Taxi. I will save it for something else.

I'm new to this and therefore dont wanna tread on anybodys toes, but please take a helpful couple of warnings regarding Crazy Taxi

1) Its slipped five times in five weeks, I think Acclaim are ashamed of the finished version.

2) Somebody has already posted on here, it was a release game for DC and now everyone is gagging for a near 2 year old game for their next-gen PS2?! What next? Columns? Altered Beast??!

3) Its not really that good! Theres no point to it and you are much better off sticking a couple of quid in the arcade machine whenever you see it rather than forking out £40 for it. You get a D rating, game over, you get an A+ rating its still game over, theres no secrets to unlock, theres no replay value, it is just an old sad, time limited arcade game and after you have picked up your 100th vicar and taken him to the same church, you really will wonder what all the fuss was about.

Nobody will listen, but save your forty quid...

Crazy Taxi wasnt a launch game in Japan for the DC. It came out here in late Feb 2000(23rd I think) so Japan got it Late Jan 2000 the 27th to be correct. America got it 1st Feb 2000.

Turbonutter, if thats true then Acclaim should be ashamed of themselves.

When it was released on DC it was a Jap launch title, and the developers were still getting to grips woth the machine.

Acclaim have a number of titles out for PS2 already, you would have thought that they could have tidied it up a bit.

Still, it's gameplay that counts, and CT has it in bucketloads! Roll on CT2 for the DC......

The graphics are an EXACT REPLICA. Everything, from framerate, to draw distance, car models, even the glitches like reveresing into peds ARE EXACTLY THE SAME. By PS2 standards, the graphics are not much cop.

Over the years I've become very jaded after many bad experiences with customer services, you have bucked the trend. Polite and efficient from the Freeola team, well done to all involved.
