Yesterday History's most successful video game manufacturer Nintendo have finally revealed the price of the Gamecube!

According to Nintendo.com they said they got a "overwhelmingly positive response" from all those lucky people who went to E3 More than 62,000 in fact! So what is it is it $150 as we all prayed for or $299 which we all feared?

$199.98 is the suggested retail price and for those of you who doesn't know what that means in our currency then it is probably £199!

Oh my giddy aunt the big N has now retailed their console 3 days (72 hours) befor the X-box and a remarkable $100 cheaper! I know who I'm putting my money on but with the promised Playstation 2 price reduction of 50 quid Nintendo will only be 50 quid cheaper! You could still get yourself a game with that but it isn't as big as we all thought.

The games industry is hotting up but instead of being Skeptical lets let Nintendo have their moment ot shine because this round has only just started.

Exchange rates have nothing to do with it. Usually, $=£. Look at the PS2. And the PS1. And the N64, Saturn, Dreamcast...

It might be a 10er less as the GBA is 80-90 quid over here but $100 in america!

But the Sony only said they'd reduce it by 50 quiod didn't they?

Lol! I can imagine. My house mate supports Arsenal, but luckily it was his birthday that weekend, so he went home to do all the family stuff, otherwise i think there would have been some violence occuring......

Yup. The best one was where the ball was dropping for a simple tap-in. He had a complete spack-attack and ended up passing it back to Westerveldt.

The language in our house was amazing!

He's never been a good stiker...... has he?

I hate to remind you of it, but in the FA cup final, he must have had at least 4 chances from inside the 6 yard box. It was ridiculous.

Still, i'm not complaining......
