This thread has been linked to the game 'Halo 3'.
Rumours say that Halo 3 will be released on February 9th 2005, after completing Halo 2 on Legendary the date February 9th is revealed, Bungie as usual have dismissed this rumour. But seeing as it took 2/3 years to complete Halo 2 this seems unlikely unless Bungie have something up their sleeve...

If they did release HALO 3 on XBOX, all they'd have to do is teak the crap graphics problems, do voice-overs and cut-scenes, link the LIVE play to HALO 2, (at least some maps,) and Make you play more as Master Chief.
It's feasible. But with XBOX 2 due in the 'Fall' of 2005/ Early 2006, there's no way Microsoft wouldn't have it as a launch title. Febuary is not true. Not a chance. X2 launch title is definitely possible. After the sales, hype and press of Halo 2, and the continual dominance of the PS2, Microsoft would definitely even things up more with HALO 3 as a launch title.
I hope it's true. Bungie have had X2 dev kits for around a year and should already have built a decent engine. Well have to see how things go. I'd expect a flurry of details, come May.

That was 100% pure cruelty the way they ended Halo 2. When Chief said he's gonna finish this fight, I was like it's time to kick azz, this is gonna be big! 3 seconds later [credits] no! you can't do this to us! you mother.........aefwegipwnriognwior!!!!
