Well basicly, can someone please tell me what ADSL is? I have BT Broadband. The Wireless Router i'm getting to play Live says:

"Please note : This router doesn't have a built-in ADSL modem. You would need an external Ethernet ADSL modem for this router to work on ADSL in the UK."

I've had BT Broadband for a good while now, and never read or seen anything about it saying it's ADSL

Thank you :-)

Sorry Daveus, I forgot to reply to you in the Live FAQ. I'll update it later with some new routers and stuff. Netgear are good, if a tad pricy.

I can fully, 100% guarantee that combination will work. It's what I use when I want to take my Xbox into the lounge.

The modem is incredibly easy to set up, the Wireless Bridge takes a little more time as you need to synchronise the settings betweent he modem and the Xbox otherwise the Xbox won't be found.

Ok, these two babies are in my trolley:

Netgear DG834G v" 54Mbps Wireless Router With Built-In ADSL Modem
Netgear WGE101 54Mbps Wireless Ethernet Bridge

I'm just gonna ring them up and ask them if they're compatible with Xbox Live. Don't fancy paying £130 for a couple of things and find out when they arrive that it won't work to go on Live...I be a bit pizzed :-S

Do I need to ring them up or do you know 100% certain that they're compatiable with Xbox Live ???
