There's a general election on the horizon and it means government money is coming out of education, healthcare and police and into propaganda campaigns.

It's almost certainly a two-horse race which Cheshire-car faced Tony will win, and blubbering cash-wasting Tories will come second in, before their angered voters turn to more radical right wing parties who offer them policies as opposed to middle-ground but-more-racist-than-labour policies. Namely UKip or BNP, who are openly racist, just not so much middle ground.

Personally I'm voting for the British Socialist Party. Commies, of sorts. I feel that it's an honour to have a vote and I wont waste it, instead I'll plough a wry amount of hope into a small party with a more coherent phillosophy than the chimps-in-suits running the country.

How about you then?

Be political or not-so as you wish.

Ooh and argue, that would be fun.

This is going to sound really dumb! I know it but here goes anyway!

I am voting Labour! never have done before but am going to now, BUT I will still vote Lib Dem for the local elections always have done, on a local level they are brilliant! but lack clout in the big goverment hence the Labour vote.

They were done something awful in the 1980s, especially in '83. They got about 0.4% less votes than Labour yet got about 20 seats.

My vote will be wasted but I like to vote for who I like rather than tactical vote the SNP in (which wouldn't happen anyway). Hopefully my MP's majority will be slashed, might make me smile a bit.

Lib Dems.

Ever notice how people with an interest in power vote labour or the tories, and people with an interest in politics vote libdem?

Personally, I think Labour will lose a ton of votes. However, the tories will lose equally as many to UKIP, Veritas, and the happy-go-lucky BNP. This may be the Libdems election...then again, I've been saying that since 1997. Fingers crossed...

And gamesfreak: there are other options, you know. I think someone mentioned one of them...

I won't be 18 when the election comes.

Just miss out on it by one month.

If I was able to vote, I'd probably go for Labour.

Even though I don't agree with the War in Iraq and the many other George Bush loving policies, I'd do anything to stop Conservative taking power and ruining everything again.
