There's a general election on the horizon and it means government money is coming out of education, healthcare and police and into propaganda campaigns.

It's almost certainly a two-horse race which Cheshire-car faced Tony will win, and blubbering cash-wasting Tories will come second in, before their angered voters turn to more radical right wing parties who offer them policies as opposed to middle-ground but-more-racist-than-labour policies. Namely UKip or BNP, who are openly racist, just not so much middle ground.

Personally I'm voting for the British Socialist Party. Commies, of sorts. I feel that it's an honour to have a vote and I wont waste it, instead I'll plough a wry amount of hope into a small party with a more coherent phillosophy than the chimps-in-suits running the country.

How about you then?

Be political or not-so as you wish.

Ooh and argue, that would be fun.

Damn straight

There is no way I will EVER vote for (New) Labour. I'm till optimistic that some sort of popular centre-left movement will arise again in a decade or two.

Whether this be in Labour or Lib Dems... though our political system limits a third power however. Meaning Labour will always be in power and whoever replaces Blair will just be of the same breed.

Unfortunatley, I think you should vote for the party you believe in, and not the lesser of two evils. In times to come I can hold my head up and tell people who I voted for with a free conscience, unstead of "well, I wanted to vote Lib Dem, but voted the current government in because I was scared the others might win"

The winner probably should be urinated upon, in this case.

People voting Lib Dem:

If you're in a place where the results are close (and the first two are Labour and the Tories) then consider tactical voting because Labour's still better than the Tories eeking back in because too many voted for the Lib Dems.

I'll be voting Lib Dem unless the tories look like they can squeeze into power by too many people not voting labour and going Lib Dem.

I won't quite be old enough ... but if I were, I'd probably go Lib Dem to be honest. Mostly because I couldn't take it if UKIP / BNP got anywhere near anyplace remotely important, which seems painfully likely looking at the clueless chav-state we live in.

And they seem to be the only party not involved in a pathetic slanging match against the other. As soon as a party's election campaign starts revolving around badmouthing the opposition, they've lost all ounce of respect from me.

Lib Dems.

Michael Howard was on that Godawfulsmuggit someone Wright show this morning, lapping up the idiotic answers given by Mr Howard.

He was asked through a phone in, why do so many people who go to jail reoffend?

He naturally, looked straight into the camera, and then explained that criminals on the street are just as likely to reoffend as those in jail. But he believes in punishment, and jail can keep these people off the streets.

So basically, he said as plain as daylight that jails do not work. If we're just going to keep them locked up for a while, and as soon as they get out they simply reoffend, why not just bring back the death sentence, hey? Jails are just getting overcrowded after all, kill em off, I say. And those immigrants too.

He also said there were more Tory students in the Uk than anything else.

...uuuughghghh
