I'm getting me a mid-high end laptop, mainly meant for gaming just now but at least a bit portable.
Been researching quite a bit and I actually know some stuff.
The top end Ati X800 and GeForce 6800 are probably to far out my price range, was going to wait till the x700 became more prominent but I can't be bothered.
So I'm thinking of going for this, with upgrading to 1GB RAM.
So, yeah... views please.

Yeah, it's not the fastest but I'm much more inclined for that sort of processor. Don't want one burning a hole in the desk.
Yeah, I read the battery upgrade was much needed. I think it's one of the best deals I've seen, wish I ahd the cash for the XTreme Ti though. Wanted to get a user upgrasable GPU but they're limited to only a few laptops.

Ahaha Sheepy, I had my eye on this one for a while. It's a great lapatop; no doubt you've been to Whatlaptop and read the replies on the forum; while Rock's service isn't A++++, it is good enough. Due to the Pentium M, it's far quieter than most laptops, and the Radeon 9700 is powerful enough for all modern games; yes, WoW too.
They recently replaced the battery too, so now it lasts longer. Pester them for a 9 cell battery upgrade when you order.
OOh, they have a new blue-green case.
