But he meant said "striker," meaning "outright striker" rather than "support striker."

When your the guy playing furthest up the pitch at a top team, you should be getting at least close to a goal every other game.

You just said "a striker, as gudjohnsen is, should be judged on his goals"....

There was no "what kind of player they are" involved....

Zola, was a genius. Absolute legend, and he probably created more than he scored - but he's still the best player seen.

Look at Bergkamp now, still hailed by gooners, and how many does he score....? He spends more time setting up Henry than scoring. Does that make him a bad striker?

A striker, which gudjohnson is, should be judged by his goals.

I'm on about the way he plays as well. He did more in the game than Crespo did, even if he didn't score as many goals.

Mourinho wanted Crespo to stay, but he also wanted all his players to be happy, and when Crespo said he wasn't happy in England, Mourinho allowed him to go to Milan.

And hurray for that!
