If the stories in these 2 games are as great as Resident Evil's ongoing plot, then they are going to be very special indeed !
The characters are very well designed and the effects and graphics are looking superb. I've seen footage of both games on the DVD's in magazines and they both have me really drooling to play them !
With these 2, plus the ongoing Resident Evil games coming out, I wonder what other titles of this genre Capcom have up their sleeve !
It'll also be nice if other companies start looking into this genre and hopefully come up with their own ideas to add in. Extermination is looking like a game of this catagory although Sony are trying to deny it is survival horror, more of a panic / action / horror.
This is another game high on my wants list cause it looks an exciting game thats gonna keep players hearts pumping with its horror style story and pressuring gameplay. Afterall, Sony are quick to say that its not going to be an adventure like game where you have plenty of time to mess around examining things and working out puzzles. Its going to be all about getting things done fast and having to rush along while not knowing what could jump out on you.
In my opinion, this is an excellent idea ! Because plenty of players when they face a challenge for the first time like to take their time and be very cautious around areas they think enemies could be lurking. But to be forced to get through certain areas fast while still having that same "where are they !?" feeling is going to be one hell of an experience !
Roll on future survival horror titles ! :-)
Of course, with a god you get the devil too, how else could you explain Microsoft?
;-)
I've realised that I'm in the top ten posters for this month.
I need to get out more methinks.
Hurry back woman, Goatboy needs distracting from himself.

At this moment in time... a bored man.
What kind of men are you?
Shame on you.

...when he can get a game...
It must be infuriating playing second fiddle to Emile 'Bruno' Heskey!
Oh well, he made up for it, he decided to take human form and now resides at Anfield scoring goals.
Robbie Fowler, now theres a God worth worshipping ;-))
Gamecube:
What a waste of money this will be.
A games console designed for children and the simple minded, with nothing but flashy versions of N64 titles.
Mario/Wario/Bowserio, a jetski game...*yawn*
Go play with your little kid gamescube, I'll colour in things instead, more fun and productive.
There.
What a sad world when being heretical gets nothing, but cast aspersion on a games machine and all guns are cocked
Catholicism is one of the most outdated and purile religions to have survived since the dark ages.
Christianity is a tool of control by the Church (who we have to thank for taxes, the inquisition, holy wars, the crusades, awful hyms) that is full of subserviant dogma, ie:
"The Lord is My Sheperd"
"My Flock" is a usual description of a parish congregation.
Woah there, too many sheep references for my liking.
And come on, virgin birth?
3 guys turning up with expensive gifts "following a star"?
Yeah right, and Joseph didn't have a Jerry Springer moment as soon as they walked into that stable.
er...anything else I can say to inflame the moral majority?

HOW DARE YOU SAY THAT!...
Are you making fun of the church with that statement?
