Argh, had two little mishaps today, both involving the same hand and similar accidents. First I was putting a jumper on, put my arm through the sleeve and straight into the corner of a door frame - right between the knuckles. Ouch. Worse was to come though. Putting my hat on to go to the place where the sun is supposed to be, and managed to walk into a door frame, jamming the index finger of my right hand right below the knuckle, causing it to bleed. I thought I'd broken it at first, because the pain was so excrutiating, but I could move it after a few minutes so I think it's fine.

And my first thought after the second accident? Will I ever be able to hold a woman again? Will I ever be able to point and laugh at a gypsy without giving away my manky finger? Will I have to attend the same "Gammy-hands Anon." meetings as Jeremy Beadle? No. My first thought was "Oh no, I can't play guitar anymore". But then I went and jammed for a few minutes to make sure. That's rock and roll. F**kin' A.

The finger would still be fractured, it just wouldn't be attached to you anymore.

"I took some 50-something stone kid down"

If he truly was 50 stone I don't think he would need any assistance to collapse.

We had an 'exciting' game of Takedown Bulldog, I took some 50-something stone kid down and managed to fall with the little finger on my right hand outstretched...landing directly on the tip. I did a little hop (of pain) and something like "F%*£...oh $!"^" then carried on playing!

A week later my finger was a lovely shade of green and purple, aswell as sticking out a good few centimetres. I went to the doctors and was told it was fractured (surprise, surprise!) Their remedy? the 'one size fits all' cure - strap your fingers up.

Well, they healed...and that's why I'm the man you see before you today (screwed up)

Applause

Wonderful...
... and so easy-to-use even for a technophobe like me. I had my website up in a couple of hours. Thank you.
