Got up this morning to find ants having a party on my worktops!

Think ive got rid of most of them(oh i dont like creepy things)but isnt it to cold for ants ? ,and had to throw food out (just incase)!

Why are they here so early?

Oh they make me feel sick!

Bf likes to burn them with his rocket lighter,hes just evil:)

Ironic that everyone hates ants, but in the film Honey I SHrunk the Kids they were portrayed as nice little cute friendly animals, and everyone was sad when the scorpion killed it

Spanish ants are much bigger than british ants: When we were in Spain we left some kebab bits in the bin in the kitchen, came back, and ants were moving whole chunks across the floor! Shame they couldnt fit em through the tiny whole in the wall, doh!

Meh; one of most entertaining things I've ever seen was during a holiday in Central Spain; 2 colonies of ants were engaged in mass warfare. So I got to watch a series of ant battles unfold over 4 days. I seem to recall that the black ants were victorious...
