Glad to be of help!
And its not that I wasnt "listening", I was asking a question. So what was the one on the NES? which has been answered.
No it wasn't?
Seeing as you won't take our word for it; [URL] http://psx.ign.com/articles/077/077806p1.html [/URL].
See; it goes like this.
Game - Year - Format (Italics are US; non Italics are JAPs).
Final Fantasy - 1987 1990 - Famicom NES
Final Fantasy II - 1988 - Famicom
Final Fantasy III - 1990 - Famicom
Final Fantasy IV II - 1991 - Super Famicom SNES
Final Fantasy V - 1992 - Super Famicom
Final Fantasy VI III - Super Famicom SNES
(Both US and JAP)
Final Fantasy VII - 1997 - Playstation
Final Fantasy VIII - 1999 - Playstation
Final Fantasy IX - 2000 - Playstation
Final Fantasy X - 2001 - Playstation 2
Now, as you can see, it's all a bit messed up.
In the US, the series actually only has 7 games; FF1; FFIV; FFVI; FFVII; FFVIII; FFIX and FFX, missing out FFII, FFIII and FFV. However, they were latter released on the PlayStation.
Then there were 'other' FF titles.
Final Fantasy Legend I [SaGa] - 1990 - GameBoy
Final Fantasy Legend II [SaGa 2] - 1991 - GameBoy
Final Fantasy Legend III [SaGa 3] - 1993 - GameBoy
Final Fantasy Adventure [Seiken Densetsu] - 1991 - GameBoy
Final Fantasy Mystic Quest - 1992 - SNES
Final Fantasy Tactis - 1998 - PlayStation
So there you have it. Took me ages to write up for you, but there. No more mistakes now, young 'un.
i.e. Final Fantasy: Mystic Quest.
I realised about the word limit after I wrote it and will have to cut the intro down next time. I wrote it originally with 4200 characters, and its much harder cutting it down that it is writing it. Apart from the minor mistakes I dont think I did too bad...
