Yeah, I don't know where you got the Mystic Quest stuff from - but it's all lies. FF has always been called FF, for the reasons our lovely little homosh there kindly detailed.

The game started in 1987, on the original NES, and was called Final Fantasy. The reason for calling it Final Fantasy was because Hironobu Sakaguchi, the designer of the game, decided to quit the gaming industry, and he decided to end his career with one last game, that's why he called it Final Fantasy.

Aye, seem to have given a brief rundown of the plot and a history, rather than a review.
Not saying it's a problem though, already owning the game it's a good read, however you'll find that it is easy enough to sum up the plot and history in two or three lines each.
Also a couple of grammatic errors - not major, just to mention them (apparently staffies can be stingy - don't shoot yourself in the foot) - such as "...which leaves Tidus 1000 years into the future."

It's either 'leads' or 'in'.

Although whether you actually win or not is seemingly random - but there's nothing to make me say it wouldn't.
