All the weather forecasts said we were due a heavy snowfall last night. The M62 and A62 were well gritted in anticipation. I know this as a fact because I got stuck in the traffic behind it.

Woke up this morning and jumped out of bed in true anticipation of being able to jump back in it again.

Was there any snow? Not a flaming flake in sight.

So here I am at work, well fed up, but I bet you a pound to a pinch of pig manure that it will fall and stop me from going to uni tonight :(

The drive home from Brighton proved a little tricky. Much snow on the M25. It was like a blizzard at times.

Close your eyes and put your foot down. If you can't see the snow it's not a hazzard and the quicker you get home the less time you've spent driving in the bad consitions.

Not just a pretty hat-rack, my friends.

We got about an inch in 5 minutes. Then the sun came out.
Disappointing.
Amusing watching my brother going yippeekayay thinking he wouldn't have to go in tomorrow, and then I grinned when it stopped.

We got a foot of it in Scotland. My skool wasn't shut (the only one still open), and by 3:20pm 70% was gone.

At least you saw some...it wasn't until I saw the Weather (just before a programme) that I even knew there was any snow!

Came out of the lecture to go to the labs and the car park was white over with lovely large soft flakes still falling. I said goodnight to the lecturer and skipped the tutorial. Half a mile from the uni there was no sign anywhere of any snow.

Drove 20+ miles home with no sign of snow again 'til I got to my house and even then it is only on the cars and grass. I'm disgusted!
