I'm interested in selling my Xbox, in exchange for something new and probably cheaper.
I'm a little unsure about this "Nintendo DS" lark however; is it the next step up from the GBA or what? Or is it some sort of 'novelty extra' like the GBASP was when that was released?
Yes, I should be crawling google, but to be honest, you guys know your stuff and it'd be a great help to understand what this DS thing is.
I guess I've been kind of out of touch with this whole gaming thing, but I've only really heard a few snippets of information about this DS lark; no one seems to be making a big deal out of it.

They probably could have done - but I think the long delay is due to the DS having 2 screens, which means it takes twice as long to build up a decent stock. And the screens are in short supply anyway, I think. Something like that.
Plus the language translation - but they could have that done by Christmas.
I think the Nokia should pack its bags. But its not really fair on the people that bought one so I suppose thats why they are keeping it going. They're even bringing out a load of new games for it.
Also the DS is coming in time for christmas for me. ;)
It's still going?
Sigh. I think Nintendo should of released the DS in time for Christmas worldwide - isn't the PSP coming out soon?
There's so little support for the system its unbelievable.
I think Systema had more support for their single game LCD systems!
Nintendo DS had double that in Japanese pre-orders alone.
Didn't realise this console was in such high demand.
Oh look, it's March Time, I better go buy my DS.
That's right, Dringo.
I'm sorry.
