What's so good about being a 'notable'?
All I know is, I'd rather not be voted as one. Those who have been seem to think that they're perfect! no one is perfect. They think that because they have a different 'rank' under their nicknames anything they say goes! And that's what some normal members seem to think too!

How do you know noteability (is that a word?) doesn't improve your life?

I hacked into the SR mainframe today, and here is a document that I found and saved to disk before Tony and his team of crack troopers started shooting at me.

Subject - Mail to Noteables.
This is to be mailed to all who become a Noteable. This will probably confirm what they already expect, but expect a certain level of surprise from the Noteables.

Congratulations! You have become a Noteable at ukdiscussions.co.uk! This is a list of priviledges that you will have as a result of this status.
1. The power to have your name in a yellow colour. This gives you protection againt the eye bleedingly awful purple, and thus limits the damage recieved to your eyesight.
2. Newbies will think you are actually gay. This means they wont annoy you by posting in topics of yours, which is good.
3. Edgy will constantly slate you. This will give you an opportunity to argue back and humiliate him. If he starts to win the argument, your and his posts will be edited to make it seem as though you are beating him.
4. You have the RIGHT to win gameaday at least once every 3 months. This is in addition to any other gameadays you might win in that time.
5. If SR have any stock spare, it will be dished out between all the noteables.
6. You will be given the power to edit all posts in the forum. Thus, if some newbie writes a brilliant topic, you can put it under your name.
7. You will be sent a program called 'My Pet Tony'. This will enable you to give Tony a mental shock by projecting your face into his vision whenever you want, thus you have him at your beck and call.
8. On Planetarion, you will have 1000 asteroids donated to you by a 'mystery owner'.
9. Red Carpet will be layed out before you whenever you enter a SR club shot.
10. A SR club shop will be built within at least 20 km of your house.
11. You will be invited to take part in hacks on Microsoft.
12. You will have the abilty to talk to your brain.
13. You will be able to deny your like of Wresteling.

I don't think i have enough respect to become a notable, but i don't believe that becoming a notable means anything.
I don't care if you respect me or not, i have friends who I have shared good and bad times with, so all i can say is respect me if you want.
What i'm trying to say is that becoming a notable won't improve your life, it won't help you get a job in the future and it won't help you get someone to love you.

Respect is everything. Admittadly, I really want to be a notable. But not because I want to get a gold name, but because that means enough people respect me and believe I should be a notable.
Edgy, what are you on about, since the five people have become notables they haven't changed one bit. Snpier is still snide and boring, Grix still tries to be knowledgeable (i'm not saying your not Grix) Ant still goes on about sugar, do you get my point.
I haven't read once that they think they are Perfect, they don't go around telling everyone what to do, they just act the way they do as they were a regular.

If I name any then it's unfair to them because it makes them look bad.
Let's just say I wasn't talking about you Grix. I'm not saying all the other 4 seem to make themselves perfect....just the minority but there are so few notables at the moment that there isn't much difference between minority and majority.
