At least she's trying to do something, even if she's misguided in the way she goes about it. I think there are far too many parents in this country who'd be too embarassed or dont care enough to take action. I like this woman, fair play to her.

But if you read the whole story, he's already been in trouble for shop-lifting and other stuff anyway, so it probably all built up. But it does sound as if his mum doesn't know how to raise him, anyway...
