Saw the second half of the Top 100 tearjerkers on channel 4. The no.1 was ET. That's sad.

I was glad to see that Watership Down was in there at no. 15. Always gets me crying, but usually at the end, not when Bright Eyes comes on.

Was watching this thinking, 'Huh, none of this is remotely tearjerking' and feeling like a real man, then blubbed like a baby over the animal hospital clip. We've always had rough collies and it was awful seeing that guy saying goodbye to his about-to-be-put-down dog.

What happened?

Also, every time I see Southgate miss that penalty, I laugh.
I laugh a lot.

ET's one of the few films to ever make me cry.

I was about 6 at the time.

I love 'em. Alcohol poisoned, limited attention span, Sunday evening dross for when you're too ill to concentrate on anything any more complicated than talking head celebrities and quick clips. If you don't like whats on, hey! It'll change in approx 30 seconds. It's like channel surfing, without the troublesome effort of actually having to expend energy pressing buttons.
