Saw the second half of the Top 100 tearjerkers on channel 4. The no.1 was ET. That's sad.

I was glad to see that Watership Down was in there at no. 15. Always gets me crying, but usually at the end, not when Bright Eyes comes on.

The only one i've definitely cried watching was Stand By Me when i was younger although Whale Rider and The Green Mile got some reaction. I loved the ending to Titanic simply because i hated the film, i must have watched Di'Caprio die about 8 times before i stopped laughing.

Watership Down disturbed me as a kid.

I'll have to watch it again to see if it is as dark as I remember.

Most of the others were crap girly films.

Girls will cry at anything. Look, there's one crying now ...

The green mile is the only film thats ever left me with a lump in my throat. Im usually very un-emotional about sad films.

He had had injury after injury, and was finally in good form for the Olympics 400M. So he starts, goes well, then suddenly, his hamstring goes again (recurring time after time) and he collapses. Then he gets up and hobbles about, in absoloute agony, to finish the race - his father rushes to him and he eventually collapses on his shoulder.

Twas horrible.
