I think that spending between £40 and £60 for a new game whatever the format to me is a waste of money.
Why spend that amount on a new game when if you bide youre time and wait a few months you could probabaly get the same game a far cheaper price after it's been on the market for a few months.
Heres a exsample I wanted pd when it came out on the n64 but i wasn't allowed to get it because it was too dear but a few months later i saw it for £30 second hand.
I think that was a good example.
The cheapest game i have is Worms Armaggedon wich i bought for £4.99.
I have also got some top class games for less than £20.
Like 1080 snowboarding wich was £6.99,Lylat Wars for £14.99,Vigilante 8 for £9.99
Anyway i thimk i have made my point.
If you see a new game that has only just come out for £40 or £50,remember to wait a few months to see if you can find it second hand cheaper or slashed in priced in a big game store like Special Reserve.
I'll probably be buying a PSX soon, I never owned one, and although I'v eplayed a large numbers of games on it, there are many more I want to try out.
I bought a SNES back in september, to play on the great games I missed out on by having a megadrive, or didn't get to play as much as I'd have liked to because I only ever played them at a friends house. I haven't regretted it since - and here's a plea: If anyone know's where on earth I can get hold of Super Bomberman and a multitap for the SNES, I'd be very grateful.
Who came up with that idea then?
I got a Visual Memory Pak for the dreamcast for twelve pounds!
They had a N64 controller in great condition for only ten pounds!
I got a Dreamcast game rack for 99p!
Their games are also well cheap - I got Chef's Luv Shack for two pounds!
Funny thing is, I didnt even realise he liked egg white.
However, when flicking through the instruction book I discovered something that truely repulsed me. My fingers where on a big dollup of marmite that the freak that previously owned the game had somehow got on there.
Truely disgusted I was, so sold the game on.
