Ordered PlusNet Broadband last Friday (morning time). Firstly, the username and password they assign to you at the time, is that the same username/password you use to confirm details with your router? I only ask because I won't have access to my emails or the internet to check for any updated information for when the line gets connected...

Secondly, is it usually a 7 day or 10 day process to get connected?

Doubt it. I play Counter-Strike online, download a few demos, IGN video reviews but I wouldn't say any more than 20-30GB per month tops.

Looks as if it was 140Gb and over per month for 3 months.

Christ, the biggest I've downloaded was 4Gb :S

I heard the bad boy pipe was for 300-600Gb downloaders. Whatever it was, it would require constant 24 hour downloading to get on the pipeline.

Would like to say that Plusnet are in a way capped. A few months ago they shifted a load of people on what they call the "bad boy" pipe if you had downloaded too much. The pipe was full of heavy downloaders and meant that the broadband speed was alot less for the people on the pipe. Ok so to get onto the pipe you had to be doing 150Gb a month or more so still better than most, but still not uncapped as download too much and get put on the slower pipe untill you stop downloading.

Yeah, I don't want capped limit, looking for sh*t hot download speeds and they seem to be the only ones who can comprehensively offer this.

A fine choice. ;)
