"Changing Name?"

Well. I've been doing a lot of thinking, I'll be 16 soon. Not that that's a particularly amazing achievment, but simply that I want to decide which name I adopt.

See, my mother's name is Lindsay, and my father's is Kuen. (Last names...)

And, since I live with my mother, it's been Lindsay. But... I dunno.

If I were to want to change my name, legally, to Kuen, how would I go about doing it? Do I just start signing things with it?
