Can anyone suggest the best 19" monitor in the region of £150 - £200?

I'm looking at this at the minute, although some reviews say it's excellent and others say its no better than average.

I've had a look today but I can't for the life of me work out the difference between the VX912 and VX912b for the exception that the VX912b is £30 more.

That was the one I wads looking at as it has a much lower response time and only a slightly lower contrast ratio. Just confused me as to why it is cheaper.

And you said out of them 3. Does that imply that you have another one in mind?

It's probably better than the monitor I have now, but not much.

Just on the side, I'm guessing that something such as this, http://www.planetmicro.co.uk/product_info.asp?stockcode=M002914 will be absolutely crap?

It's cheap and has good reviews but they're probably from stupid people.

Ok. I've been looking at a few 19" TFT's. Viewsonic of course.

There are 3 19" ones and I have no idea which ones better.

We have:

http://www.viewsoniceurope.com/UK/Products/LCDE2/VE902m.htm at £280

http://www.viewsoniceurope.com/UK/Products/LCDGraphics/VG910b.htm at £340

http://www.viewsoniceurope.com/UK/Products/LCDX/VX912.htm at £310

I know it's higher than the £200 I was aiming for, but you know what happens when you give yourself a budget.

I have no idea which one is better for me. I use my PC for everything before you ask so I need a good all rounder.

I'm just a little confused as some have a super low response rate however have a low contrast ratio and vice versa.

I really struggle to use CRTs now cos of the flickering - I never noticed it when I used to have one, but I couldn't work on my PC long periods at a time, and now I can. Yay.
