I haven't really heard anything by Radiohead, despite them having been recommended to me countless times.

Do they have a defining album, something I could buy to see whether or not I like them? If not, tell me what you think their best is.

Thanks.

Asking what is the best Radiohead album or Pink Floyd album is an impossible question. 'Animals' is another good one that doesn't get mentioned, also 'Obscured By Clouds'. The 'Live In Pompeii' DVD is a good one to get if you haven't got, what we need now is for the live DVD of the Earls Court gigs to come out

Can't get enough of Pink Floyd at the moment. Managed to get a hold of a couple of their albums a while back (Meddle is a work of art), and got Echoes (the best of) for christmas. Also ordered their first three off the net the other day.

To think that Radiohead could match that quality is encouraging.

See that's the thing, I completely forgot about Hail to the Thief, and I doubt I could name half the tracks from the other two lesser albums. Pablo, Bends and OKC are special in the way that doesn't result in a mess.

Least those two had some sort of I dunno meaning and emotion behind them.

Hail to the Thief was just empty.

Amnesiac and Kid A are the arty bollshat they came out with after, and I quote, "Buying the entire Warp records back-catalogue".

'OK Computer' does it for me, it is magic. But 'The Bends' is better in a rock kinda way. 'Pablo Honey' has it's moments, but they'll never better OKC.

I got OK and Amnesia.

OK is great.

Amnesiac is good at times, but only when I concentrate.

Psh / Pulk and The Gloaming are two of my fave Radiohead songs.

The Gloaming is about the end of the world. THE END OF THE WORLD!
