It plays 'slower' games like Black and White but for FPS it's just plain crap!
I've gotta try it out with Quake saying that, see if that still has a crap outcome like Halo.
Anyway, I'm not selling it on eBay due to the hassle of doing so (plus I wanna agree a price beforehand so I can get the new PC before selling this.)
So what would people pay for laptop with these specs? It looks as if it would be worth around ฃ1000 if bought new so is ฃ600 too low or too high?

Thankyooooo.
It's a free version but it should be able to tell me if anything's wrong...
It's a hoooooge file however, so I won't be able to run it for a while. It should be downloaded in about 2 1/2 hours time...
I can't wait for NTL's decent speed upgrade that's coming in February!
Benchmarks in that review but the specs are slightly different but worthwhile you running them to see what you get. Its possible you'll find benchmarks for your machine in the databases that programs like 3Dmark, PCPitstop run too.
They are probably your best bet for identifying something wrong with your machine.
Plus I wanna use the money to build a decent PC. Get something far far better to play games, whoops, work...
Are there no programs that can help me to find what the problem is? Something that might test the system?

And I take it you'll be selling it as "not in full working order"? :)
It's an Iridium S865.
I knew I forgot something!
