Right, time to finish this.

"Instead of that weirdo irritating us all the time, I say we kill him."

This is how it was originally written.

This is how Your Honour thinks it should be written.

"Instead of that weirdo, irritating us all the time, I say we kill him."

Now... surely it DOESN'T need a comma? Please, discuss and argue this.

I know this is a pointless topic... but I don't think this one is going to make much of a difference to the already made mountains of rubbish topics...

"From an English point of view"

Well I'm from Wales... so that might not help.

But I'm still right. ;0)

Bear in mind that the sentance is said to the whole group, and not Ant. Which still would make no sense anyway.

Look, form a dramatical point of view, it is better with the comma.

From an English point of view, i couldnt care less, im from essex remember?

Sprry Grix, it makes no difference with the comma or without, like i said in my apology to you topic.

If the comma is in there, it just adds a pause, for dramatic effect.

Like this:

Oh my gosh, whats that?

OR

Oh my gosh whats that?

They both make sense, as does the story thing.

I don't know, some people.......

Or should that have been:

I don't know some people........?

:-P

Dear oh dear...another well informative article innit...

Should be

"Instead of that, weirdo, irritating us, all the time, I say we kill, him."
