Now... surely it DOESN'T need a comma? Please, discuss and argue this.
I know this is a pointless topic... but I don't think this one is going to make much of a difference to the already made mountains of rubbish topics...

If the comma is in there, it just adds a pause, for dramatic effect.
Like this:
Oh my gosh, whats that?
OR
Oh my gosh whats that?
They both make sense, as does the story thing.
I don't know, some people.......
Or should that have been:
I don't know some people........?
