"Instead of that weirdo irritating us all the time, I say we kill him."
This is how it was originally written.
This is how Your Honour thinks it should be written.
"Instead of that weirdo, irritating us all the time, I say we kill him."
Now... surely it DOESN'T need a comma? Please, discuss and argue this.
I know this is a pointless topic... but I don't think this one is going to make much of a difference to the already made mountains of rubbish topics...
"Instead of that wierdo irritating us all the time, I say we kill him." - Perfect.
> Unless I'm wrong, and overestimating Grix a little.... ;)
I think everyone does that nowadays.
{;)

Problem

Yep, I knew you'd finally get it.
So now we're BOTH right. But is YH right or wrong??
{:) "ONCE YOU POP, YOU CAN'T STOP!!" CLASSIQUE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The reader expected the word 'that' to refer to the previous idea, rather than the noun which followed.
Grix decided to use the unexpected option, because it's more original, and witty.
Problem solved, I'm sorry.
..and Sniper isn't around.
Even though Grix is so stubborn that he won't admit it, me and him were thinking about it in different ways.
I'd planned for Meka to say something like, "Okay, instead of that we do....whatever."
While Grix used the word "that" in a different context, by describing me as "that weirdo."
I'M RIGHT!!!
